Applesauce Cake Recipe

Here's an old-fashioned cake recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup sugar
1 cup cold applesauce
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon baking soda (dissolved in 1 Tbsp warm water)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup raisins
2 cups flour

PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. In large bowl stir together all the above ingredients except the flour. Add flour; mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes.
